Because pregnancy deserves more than a waiting room
Informed, supported, and
ready for what comes next
Pregnancy is not just nine months of waiting for your baby to arrive. It is a profound physical and emotional transformation — one that benefits enormously from real education, real guidance, and real support from someone with genuine clinical expertise.
Most prenatal care focuses on medical monitoring — blood pressure, weight, ultrasounds, and lab results. All of that matters. But so does knowing what to expect during labor. So does understanding your options. So does having a feeding plan before your baby arrives, so you are not figuring it out at 2am while running on no sleep and pure adrenaline.
Our prenatal support services are designed to fill the gap that standard obstetric care often leaves — giving you the knowledge, confidence, and practical preparation to step into birth and the postpartum period ready for what is ahead.
"Pregnancy is a profound transformation. You deserve support that honors that — not just a waiting room and a blood pressure cuff."

What we cover
Prenatal education topics
in every visit
Every prenatal visit is personalized to you — your pregnancy, your questions, your fears, and your goals.
Birth Preparation
Understanding the stages of labor, coping strategies for contractions, working with your birth team, and navigating both medicated and unmedicated birth experiences with confidence.
Prenatal Nutrition & Wellness
Evidence-based guidance on nutrition, hydration, activity, rest, and the physical changes happening in your body throughout each trimester — so you can make informed decisions about your care.
Newborn Care Basics
Learning to care for a newborn before one arrives — diapering, bathing, safe sleep, soothing, umbilical cord care, and recognizing when something needs medical attention.
Prenatal Lactation Education
How your body prepares to produce milk, what to expect in the first days, how to establish a strong latch, and how to set yourself up for the feeding experience you want — before your baby is born. See our full prenatal lactation education page.
Postpartum Planning
Building a realistic postpartum plan before your baby arrives — who will help you, what support looks like, how to set up your home, and how to ask for what you need from your support system.
Birth Preferences & Advocacy
Understanding your rights during labor and birth, how to communicate your preferences to your birth team, and how to advocate for informed, respectful care in any birth setting.
Emotional Preparation
The emotional experience of pregnancy — anxiety, anticipation, fear, joy, grief — deserves acknowledgment and support. We make space for all of it without judgment.
Partner & Support Person Education
Partners who understand birth and newborn care make better support people at home and during labor. Partner education is welcomed and encouraged at every prenatal visit.
When to start
Prenatal support at every
stage of pregnancy
There is no wrong time to start. Whether you are newly pregnant and looking for guidance from the beginning, or in the third trimester trying to prepare as much as possible before your due date — we meet you exactly where you are.
Earlier is generally better — not because earlier is more important, but because having more time means more space to process, ask questions, and make intentional decisions. But a third-trimester crash course is still infinitely better than no preparation at all.
Virtual appointments make it easy to access prenatal education support from anywhere in California — no travel required, and scheduling around a busy pregnancy is simple.
First Trimester (Weeks 1–12)
Understanding your pregnancy
Early education on prenatal nutrition, what to expect physically, how to communicate with your care team, and beginning to think about your birth and postpartum goals.
Second Trimester (Weeks 13–27)
Building your knowledge base
Birth preparation, newborn care fundamentals, feeding education, postpartum planning, and making decisions about your birth environment and support team.
Third Trimester (Weeks 28–40)
Practical preparation
Finalizing your birth plan, pump setup, hospital bag, postpartum support plan, and lactation preparation. Covering the signs of labor and what to do when things start.
